2009 Town and Country: Turner, Harewood and Leeds

The relationship between Harewood and Leeds was explored through a series of artists’ projects in association with PSL [Project Space Leeds], a contemporary art space in the city centre.

Just ten miles apart geographically, the two sites occupy totally different environments and this project examined notions of migration between the urban and the rural locations.

Included Aerial Module, a new work by Pippa Hale in the West Garden, and Simon Warner as Artist-in-Residence on the number 36 bus between Leeds and Harewood.
