2018 Seed to Table

In 2013/14 Diane Howse, Countess of Harewood invited artist and illustrator Kate McGuire to take up a short residency in Harewood’s Walled Garden. She produced a series of delicate and meticulously observed images of edible plants, fruit and vegetables in pencil, ink and watercolour which were shown alongside other botanical drawings, including a large wall drawing of a bean shoot in development. At the same time a new line of retail prints and other items were designed by Kate McGuire.
