In the Terrace Gallery, there was an exhibition of almost all the holdings of Henry Moore’s work in Arts Council England’s collection, including sculptures and works on paper. Seen together, the works provided a succinct history of Henry Moore’s practice between 1929 and 1962, with key creative developments, such as his figurative drawings and move into abstraction visible in both two and three dimensions.
In the Grounds, Large Reclining Figure, one of Henry Moore’s monumental sculptures, was installed outside Harewood House, a nine-metre long work.
